Durga Puja 2026
Spondon Presents
Festive Season this year in Portland Is Truly Special! 🌸
Puja pandal hopping, concerts, Mahalaya celebrations—and so much more!
Let’s come together and make this year’s Puja even more special. ❤️
Amidst the vibrant atmosphere of multiple Pujas and celebrations across Portland, Spondon’s heartfelt effort this year is to recreate the warmth and spirit of a neighborhood Puja back home.
🪔 Mahalaya – Welcoming the Goddess
Let’s begin our journey into the Sharad festival together in the sacred and beautiful atmosphere of Mahalaya.
🍲 A Celebration of Food & Togetherness
Just like a neighborhood Puja, let’s cook together, share delicious food, and sit down together to enjoy a meal.
🏵️ Community-Powered Decorations
Creating simple, elegant, and tasteful Puja decorations together as a community.
🤝 Everyone, Together & For Everyone
An earnest effort to celebrate together, embracing everyone regardless of age, background, identity, or differences.
🏡 The Warmth of Home & the Spirit of a Neighborhood Puja
Even while living far from home, we hope to recreate the feeling of being surrounded by our own family, friends, and neighborhood.
🪔 Bringing Back the Memories of ‘Para Puja’
The familiar Puja of our childhood—familiar faces, shared meals, endless conversations, laughter, and joy. An attempt to bring back that beautiful nostalgia.
❤️ Puja Is Not Just an Event—it Means Our People.
Through Spondon Durga Puja 2026, our heartfelt effort is to create a celebration that feels like our own neighborhood Puja—a place where everyone belongs.
